I’m wearing my own Miss Manners hat today! After all, I am the self-proclaimed Queen of Wediquette!
There is nothing worse than getting a bad thank you note for a gift you put a lot of time, thought, and money into giving to somebody you care about. It’s an even bigger slap when the gift was obligatory and you didn’t even attend the wedding, but the recipient was too lazy to thank you properly.
It takes almost as long to write a good thank you note as a bad one, but the good one takes a little bit of effort. See my blog in BRIDES for examples of good and bad thank you notes.
Good luck, and happy wedding planning from Sandy Malone Weddings & Events!
