I’m good at a lot of things, but making and maintaining my website is not one of them. I was spoiled to have really amazing friends, and then brilliant interns, who took it off my hands for years and years at my wedding planning business.
Last year, I built my author website all by myself. (stops briefly to accept applause)
This week, I added an Upcoming Appearances and Events page, and it works. It’s not perfect – I’m having some spacing issues when you view the calendar on your phone – but it’s not bad for a first whack and you can definitely get the information on my upcoming book tour and the book events I’ll be participating in this fall.
There’s nothing better than getting to meet readers face-to-face and hear what they thought of the Tally and her friends. It gives me ideas for future books and lets me know that all this hard work is worth it.
