Guess what I did last weekend?
I finished writing Book 4 in the Gem of the Golden Isles Series. Woooohoooooo!
Tally and Yaya are back planning weddings and creating beautiful bouquets, and now Yaya is learning how to love a law enforcement officer, too. Kayla has a new wing-woman to work with, and a potential love interest to distract her. Etah and Bonnie and Roberta are living their best retired lives and taking their new grandparenting roles very seriously. Mitch and Joe are back with their task force and this time, the investigation falls much closer to home.
Okay, I’m going to stop right there before I’m a big-ass spoiler alert. That’s the hardest thing about having written a series. I was signing books at Goodyear Cottage last weekend – that’s the home of the Jekyll Island Arts Association and I’m going to be writing more about that as their Merry Artists show opens next month – and I caught myself being a spoiler for my own books. Potential readers ask me what the series is about, and I have to catch myself before I ruin it for them. By the way, the picture on this post is of the exterior of the Goodyear Cottage, located on Millionaires Row in the Jekyll Island historic district.
So “In the Shadows on Jekyll” has officially gone to the editors and hopefully, I’ll have a publication date to share in the near future. But in the meantime, if you’ve read “Escape to Jekyll Island,” “In Bloom on Jekyll,” or “Treasure on Jekyll” and enjoyed it, please take a moment to give me a five-star review on Amazon or Goodreads. You wouldn’t believe how much of a difference that makes for marketing my books.
Keep in mind, the series makes a fun gift for friends with a connection to Jekyll Island.
Until next time, happy reading!
Sandy
